Set against the open Alberta countryside, the day was relaxed, heartfelt and full of personal touches. When we asked these two what they were looking forward to most, they didn’t hesitate: “Having family and friends celebrate our day.” That focus carried through every part of the wedding, from the close-knit guest list to the genuine, emotional moments that filled the day.

Prairie Lane Barn is a wonderful choice for couples looking for a Calgary wedding venue with rustic charm and a warm, intimate feel. The barn adds character and texture to every photo, while the surrounding fields and wide prairie skies provide beautiful natural light for portraits. One of the highlights of the day was a beautifully restored 1949 Chevy tap truck serving drinks to guests.
