Mountain Wedding at Trappers Hill Lodge
As Calgary wedding photographers, we love capturing weddings that feel true to the couple. Taryn and Tyler’s wedding at Trappers Hill Lodge and Campground was just that! With stunning mountain views, the entire venue to themselves, and the Ghost River nearby, this off-grid venue just outside Calgary is perfect for couples who love the outdoors.
Taryn and Tyler told us they wanted to get married in the woods, surrounded by the mountains they spend their free time exploring. Their sweet dog, Kai, joined them for their first look and wedding portraits, making those moments extra special. With their closest friends and family camping together all weekend, the day was relaxed, full of love, and had so many personal touches. One of the coolest details was having Rolling Smoke BBQ come in to cater their dinner! The food was SO good and such a fun, unique idea for an outdoor wedding. The night ended with everyone dancing the night away!
