Waterfront Park | Wedding Photography

There was something so easygoing about Alicia and Joshua’s wedding day at Waterfront Park in Calgary. With about 65 of their favourite people gathered around them, the whole day felt relaxed, warm and full of laughter. Before the celebrations started, we asked them what they were most looking forward to, and their answer set the tone perfectly: “Our goal for the day is simple yet elegant with focus on being present in the moment and celebrating with our loved ones. For me, I’m most excited to start my forever with the person I cherish most.”

Their bridal party was a total blast. They joked their way through every photo, but in between the teasing you could see how much they adore these two and how proud they were to stand beside them. The couple had their hearts set on the gazebo at Waterfront Park, and as soon as we started their portraits there, we could see why. As the sun started to drop, we wandered down to the dock for sunset photos, and the light did not disappoint. But the moments we keep coming back to are the ones with their families: the happy tears, the long hugs and all the love that filled the day.
