Elopement Wedding At Bow Valley Ranche

Excitement filled the air as we met Renée and her bridesmaids in the parking lot of the Bow Valley Ranche.  We all headed into the restaurant and up the old creaky stairs to what I call the “Downton Abbey Room.” This vinatge room makes you feel like a fancy character from the TV show and I am working on pitching the name change to the Bow Valley Ranche….

Renee pulled out her breathtaking Vera Wang dress; we one look at it and immediately wanted to take some neat shots with it! Adele stayed with the ladies and photographed them pouring bubbly, perfecting their hair and make-up and getting excited as time ticked closer to Renée walking down the aisle to Keith.

Rain was in the forecast for the outside ceremony, but Keith and Renée put their trust in Calgary’s weather to hold off. One thing we can be thankful for with Calgary rain is that it typically doesn’t last long, (knock on wood,) and as a result clouds can be EPIC! It was so lucky that it only started to really pour once we were all done with the portraits.

We all then joined the rest of the party in the Bow Valley Ranche, for warmth, speeches, and delicious food.

We left Keith and Renée’s wedding smiling ear to ear, very happy with our first official wedding of 2015. It was a great day reminding us that being a part of someone’s day is truly special. Thank you Keith and Renée.
