Storm Mountain Lodge Winter Wedding
We never quite know what our days are going to look like when we show up to photograph. Every single wedding feels like a unique adventure and we feel so lucky to be a part of the ride. Kayla and David’s winter wedding at Storm Mountain Lodge was nothing short of beautiful. Tucked into the Kananaskis Mountains between Banff and Lake Louise is the cutest little mountain lodge, that we instantly feel like love with.
We were greeted at Mountain Lodge with big puffy snow banks, friendly staff and cute little log cabins everywhere. Kayla showed up shortly after with the biggest smile through the car window ready to start the celebration! Kayla and David shared an intimate moment with their first look and then we headed out to explore the area. It was a cooler winter day but you’d never be able to tell with how much fun they were having together during their photo time.
For their ceremony Dave collected all the guests from each cabin with bells and whistle and at the end picked up Kayla, were they officially got married on outside in front of an adorable Storm Mountain Lodge. The energy was fun, exciting and so picturesque! For the reception Storm Mountain lit two roaring fires and the party had dinner, speeches and dancing.
Kayla and David’s wedding was special, and we are so happy we got to be a part of the memories. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is tough and we are so happy to see it come together so beautifully for two really wonderful people who deserve nothing less. Huge congratulations to them!
