Invermere Wedding Photographers House of the Friesians Wedding
This was our first time photographing a wedding at House of Friesians and it did not disappoint! This wedding venue, located just outside of Invermere, has a cozy cabin feel with a beautifully decorated barn and stunning mountain views. It was the perfect venue for Sarah and Michael as they expressed to us how important it was for them to spending as much time celebrating with their friends and family as possible.
The whole day with Sarah and Michael was an absolute blast their sense of humour and really fun friends and family was special for us to be a part of. We explored all part of The House of Friesians for photos before their outdoor ceremony and wedding reception all at The House of Friesians. The weather was so comfortable and warm for an October wedding, it was really nice to open up the doors of The Shelter and enjoy every bit of the mountain views as the sun set for cocktail hour and their reception.
Sarah was our first ever bride to wear a yellow dress wedding dress. We loved her story of dreaming of a yellow dress since she was young. So suiting for Sarah as she gives off rays of warmth and happiness, and we are huge fans of couples who follow what they truly want from their wedding day. Michael is a perfect match for Sarah as his sense of humour and lightheartedness made it feel like hanging out with old friends. It’s such a joy for us to photograph the connection between these two and their happiness together and with their close knit group of friends and family! We just adore them so much and could gush over them for an uncomfortable amount of time so we will leave it at that. Here is a little peek into their wedding day.
