Heritage Park's Wainwright Hotel Wedding

Jill and Réal are destined to be together. We feel we can say that because, a crazy amount of people we know from different parts of life were at their wedding. We started off the day with getting ready at Hotel arts. Being downtown Calgary made it easy to transition to some urban wedding photographs in east village. We were able to incorporate the brick wall from the Simmons building as well as classic sharp images on Stephen Ave under The Bay Archways.

Jill and Réal’s outdoor ceremony was held in the garden of Heritage Park. Their sunset ceremony was so beautiful as they each shared their meaningful wedding vows to each other. We then headed into the Wainwright hotel for their wedding reception. The Wainwright hotel is such a unique venue in that it brings a 20th century feel like no other. We love the wall paper and rustic charm of this historic hotel.

Their happiness was so clear from them both from the moment they first saw each other to their first dance together. Friends and family seemed to be also bursting with happiness and excitement, celebrating what Jill and Réal have found with each other. Having all that happiness in one room was a ton of fun to photograph as we love candid, spontaneous photography.
