The Lake House Wedding Reception
From our very first meeting with Shereen and Deji they expressed that being able to enjoy their cocktail hour with their guests on their wedding day was very important to them. It was so special to see that plan come to life - The Lake House immediately started to boom when guests arrived. Drinks where flowing, hugs where going around and expressions where huge as guests partied with each other for the first time in two years. The great energy of people being together again was moving to photograph.
We were able to do all of the photos before the start of their reception as they did a first look at their home. We continued to take pictures at Tom Campbell Park and even their dog, Mekia, got to be a part of the wedding photos before heading to The Lake House, a beautiful restaurant on Lake Bonavista.
To get to the celebration that Shereen and Deji were looking forward too took a little bit more planning and re-planning then originally thought. Unfortunately, their date was originally set for October 2020 and then spring of 2021 and finally September 2021. They decided to officially got married back in September of 2020 and it was the best way to celebrate a one - year anniversary that we’ve ever seen!
We think very highly of Shereen and Deji. We appreciated how they always kept us in mind when plans changed, stayed positive and when the party came they genuinely expressed love towards all those people close to them. Also all the fantastic dancing! We wish these two everything wonderful in their life together.
