Alberta Rocky Mountains: Yamnuska Engagement

We came across this mountain spot in the Alberta Rocky Mountains one day on one of our quick ‘get out of the city’ day hikes. We were so impressed by this natural spot with the calm ponds of water and the views of Mt Yamnuska that we thought we’d keep it in our back pocket as a location for an engagement session.

It didn’t take long for us to recommend it to Dave and Beth as they were looking for exactly those elements for their engagement session. They wanted a quiet mountain spot not to far from the city with some nice mountain views and hiking spts felt like the activities that they often do together. So it was the perfect location spot for their engagement and it also landed on a beautiful summer day.

Engagement sessions are some of our favourite times with a couple, we feel they offer a unique opportunity to get to know each other with cameras, no quick pressure of scheduling and we love to just have fun with it and each other. We felt so much of that with Dave and Beth. They have such an easy going energy that makes you want to hang out with them all evening. We are so looking forward to their wedding day!
