Norquay Lodge Banff Mountain Wedding

There is a reason Banff National Park is known around the world, it’s such a special destination. We see that more now than ever with how many people visit and it’s also pretty cool that more and more people are deciding to have their destination wedding in Banff. This upward trend makes us so happy to see because we think it’s an amazing spot to host your wedding and it’s aweomse to see other like-minded folks think that too!

Lauren and Brody knew Banff was their top-choice from the moment they got engaged. They love the mountains and often choose hiking an activity to do together. The stunning mountain views of Mount Norquay and the lodge feel of the inside of the venue was the perfect spot for Lauren and Brody’s wedding.

The excited energy from everyone at the wedding was so much fun to photograph. We love candid wedding photography and when families get together for a special wedding, it’s so much fun to be a part of it all with our cameras. We were able to fit in a bit of Cascade Ponds for some of thier wedding photos, it was a beautiful fall day and we think the mountains, pond and fall colours sparkled a little extra for the well deserving Lauren and Brody.

As much as we love the Banff mountains views it was really the quiet in-between moments that really stuck out us with Lauren and Brody. Their little hugs for each other and waiting to just spend time together was so nice to see as that is really what its all about. At one point at the reception we caught them candidly enjoying the patio mountain views. It’s special to see them taking it all in. We are so excited for them and their life together!
