Traditional Chinese and Western Infused Wedding

Monica and Andy's wedding day started out as one of the rainiest, stormiest days of the year! It is supposed to be good luck to have rain on your wedding day, but we are sure they didn't feel too lucky looking at the weather in the morning!

With the help of their family and friends the weather did not hamper their happiness even one bit! They were able to have their traditional tea ceremony followed by a western ceremony inside the Monica's uncle's beautiful home. When you have a backup plan like that it's doesn't feel too bad to move the ceremony indoors!

Within an hour the rain had stopped and the sun began to come out and by the end of the evening their was a perfect rainbow over the T. Pot restaurant where they had their wedding reception.

Monica and Andy's wedding showed exactly what was important on a wedding day. No matter what happens with your wedding day plans anything seems unimportant when you are surrounded by fantastic, happy, loving family and you get to marry your best friend! It doesn't hurt to have tons and tons of great food either!

We had such an amazing time photographing Monica and Andy’s engagement session and wedding day, we wish them all the best. Here is a peek into their incredible day filled with joy.
