An Intimate Fall Wedding at Rouge

Bride and groom sharing a quiet moment among the autumn trees at St. Patrick's Island.

Christa and Ron celebrated a beautiful and intimate wedding in the backyard of Rouge, a venue that perfectly reflected their vision for a memorable and heartfelt day. With just 20 guests, Rouge provided a quiet, cozy atmosphere, an ideal setting for their closest friends and family.

We met on a crisp fall morning downtown to revisit the place where their story began: their first date at the Simmons Building. Wandering around St. Patrick’s Island afterwards offered the perfect backdrop for their couple’s portraits, with cool autumn air and peaceful pathways.

Their ceremony took place in Rouge’s backyard, surrounded by inner-city views and lush garden greenery. The fall colours and tranquil setting created a naturally romantic backdrop for their vows, and we especially loved capturing their moments together among the gardens.

From start to finish, their day was filled with laughter, connection, and genuine love. It was an honour to document Christa and Ron’s celebration at Rouge, a day that beautifully blended intimacy, culture, and natural beauty.
