Intimate Backyard Wedding
Rachel and Crispin are wonderful people. We saw so much kindness and humour exude from the both of them from their engagement session and wedding day. They are exactly the type of people who make us feel lucky to do what we do.
Their small intimate wedding was planned during the Covid-19 world, which everyone knows wasn't the easiest world to plan a wedding in. It always amazes us when couples can roll with the unknown and really embrace the celebration whatever the circumstances. Rachel and Crispin did exactly that, they let go of what they couldn't control and just spent the day surrounding themselves in the people and things that mean the most to them. There were their closest family and friends and, of course, their two little dogs Penny and Desmond!
From the moment we arrived at Crispin's family acreage, we were met with Crispin's brother putting a bow-tie on a halloween skeleton. We saw right away that Rachel and Crispin’s kindess and humour came naturally. Hand built 20 years ago by Crispin’s parents, this home venue held a special significance like no other. It was the perfect spot to host the most intimate wedding with just family, friends and farm animals!
Photos were a blast for us as their land backs onto a lake, ponds with ducks and beautiful treed pathways, it’s like their home was meant to be a wedding venue. Love and laughter filled their tent - it was so wonderful to be a part of!
Rachel, Crispin and their two little dogs are going to have the best life together and we are so happy for them! Here is a little peek into their special day.
