Badlands Drumheller Hoodoos Session

It’s crazy how a wonderful experience can come from making a small idea happen. During these past couple months our personal life has brought us many times to visit family in Drumheller. Traveling back and forth from Calgary, we were seeing Drumheller in a different kind of light.

What makes this engagement session truly special was the dynamic play between the Sarah and Nik and the landscape. Against the rugged beauty of the hoodoos, we really wanted to showcase how much fun these two are together. We love how much these two pop against the distinctive Badlands background.

This small idea came to life when Sarah and Nik agreed to come out to Drumheller with us. Sarah and Nik are so effortlessly awesome, they are the kind of people you just want to hang out over beers with, (in fact that’s exactly how we ended the session!) Photographing together was more fun then we ever could have even imagined it to be.
