Camp Chief Hector Winter Wedding
We had probably one of the most sketchy drives of our lives coming home from Jenn and Chris’s wedding day. It was April 27 and it was that freak snowstorm that hit Alberta, if you turned on the radio it was screaming at you to "NOT DRIVE." The roads were a slippery mess and WE KID YOU NOT we watched the semi in front of us hit black ice and slide into another vehicle that had already crashed into the ditch. It was so scary.
BUT….
Here’s the thing… this freak storm was INCREDIBLE to photograph in. We are so in love with Jenn and Chris’s wedding day that we would honestly do the drive all over again. There wedding was at Camp Chief Hector and we are so happy that they got a day like this one. It felt so magical with all the snow on the aspen trees and moody mountaintops. You honestly can’t plan for weather like this so when it worked out, we were so stoked.
On top of having the coolest backdrop for photos, Chris and Jenn were what made the day so wonderful. From the first time we met them we just really enjoyed their personalities, they were funny, kind and you could tell they just had so much fun together! We knew we were going to have a great day photographing but seeing them surrounded by all of there loved ones, totally made it a spectacular day, well that and Chris’s air guitar performance on the dance floor.
Seriously though, Chris and Jenn, we think you guys are pretty cool. We know you will continue to make the best life with each other, thank you so much for including us in your incredible wedding day and engagement session.
