Calgary Zoo Wedding in the Enmax Conservatory

Julie and Jeff had such a fun wedding party, their group was out to have a good time celebrating these two and they had lots of jokes and banter. We took photos in the gardens, by the dinosaurs and even in the carousel at The Calgary Zoo. After their outdoor ceremony in the gardens we were able to wander the grounds a bit more and visit the penguins!

The Enmax Conservatory held their reception, with speeches and tears before the dance party got going. We loved that Julie and Jeff were up for sneaking away for a few sunset photos inside using the beautiful conservatory which was filled with stunning angled light from the setting sun. One of the best parts about photographing weddings is how much emotion is in a single day. We love all the candid moments between newly married couples and their guests, and this wedding was filled to the brim with great candid moments. We can’t wait for more special moments and big wedding events held at The Calgary Zoo in the next year we’re already looking forward to going back!
