Spring Wedding at the Calgary Zoo's Gardens & ENMAX Conservatory

With colourful gardens in bloom, winding pathways, and the lush greenery of the ENMAX Conservatory, Robert and Megan couldn't have chosen a more beautiful place to celebrate their wedding day. The Calgary Zoo has a way of making you forget you're in the middle of the city. Around every corner, there's another beautiful backdrop, from vibrant flowers and quiet garden paths to the tropical plants inside the conservatory.

The ceremony was held in the gardens before heading into the conservatory to celebrate with their family and friends. The entire day felt relaxed and full of joy, with plenty of time to soak it all in. We wandered through the gardens for portraits, found little pockets of beautiful light, and took advantage of the incredible variety the venue has to offer.

One of our favourite things about weddings at the Calgary Zoo is how effortlessly nature becomes part of the celebration. The gardens are beautiful on their own, but paired with the bright, tropical atmosphere of the conservatory, the whole day feels fresh, vibrant, and full of life. It's the perfect venue for couples who want an outdoor feel without giving up the comfort and flexibility of an indoor reception space.

From emotional vows and happy tears to laughter on the dance floor and quiet moments together in the gardens, Robert and Megan's wedding was a celebration that felt genuine from beginning to end. It was such a joy to document a day that reflected who they are, warm, fun, and completely in the moment.
