Calgary Zoo Engagement: Enmax Conservatory

David and Phillip's engagement session took place on a particularly cold February day—one of those crisp days where your breath creates a visible cloud in the air. We reached out to check if they wanted to consider rescheduling due to the cold, but they were excited to move forward and brave the chill. With their session set at The Calgary Zoo, it turned out to be the perfect location to embrace the winter weather.

We absolutely love capturing moments at The Calgary Zoo—it’s such a unique and meaningful spot in the city, and we’re always excited to photograph couples there. David and Phillip also hold the zoo close to their hearts, often visiting for fun date nights. It’s clear that this place holds a special spot in their relationship.

Spending time with them was a blast! Their energy is infectious, and you can see how much they enjoy each other’s company. We’re so excited to return to The Calgary Zoo for their wedding and can’t wait to capture more of their love story.
